Location: EMMA- Kreativzentrum Pforzheim, Emma-Jaeger-Straße 20, 75175 Pforzheim
On Sunday, 7 May from 11 am to 6 pm, EMMA - Kreativzentrum Pforzheim invites you to an open day. The tenants, who range from jewellery and fashion designers to graphic designers, photographers, PR experts and visual artists, will be opening their offices and studios. They give visitors an insight into their working world and present their company and their own products. Of course, one or two designer pieces can also be tried on and purchased directly. The workshops for jewellery, industrial and fashion design, the coworking area and the roof terrace with a magnificent view over Pforzheim are also open to visitors.
Visitors can find out more about the building during hourly guided tours, and at 12 noon and 3 p.m. on the first floor, five tenants will introduce themselves in 3 minutes each during a flash presentation.
The exhibition "PF Revisited - the contemporary jewellery manufactory", realised in cooperation with Pforzheim University to mark the "250 years of Pforzheim as a gold town" anniversary, can be seen on the ground floor. At 11.00 am, jewellery designer Frieda Dörfer and Prof. Andreas Gut, Head of Jewellery Studies, will give a guided tour of the exhibition.
The "Café kommod" invites you to linger over coffee and cake on the open day.
