Where: Design Centre Baden-Württemberg, Design Library
Together with the MFG Innovation Agency for Media and Creative Industries, the Design Center Baden-Württemberg is organising a lecture evening on the topic of "Maker scene and Internet of Things - networked production".
3D printers, FabLabs, makers, Internet of Things (IoT) - these are the keywords behind new approaches to designing material technology against the backdrop of its digitalisation. On the one hand, new technical processes and networked objects are emerging. On the other hand, this networking logic is also giving rise to new social forms of organisation for technical creativity. The presentations will highlight trends and perspectives and use practical examples to convey what the maker culture stands for and where the challenges lie.
