Exhibition: "slow fast jewellery" (Young European Talents)

Deliberate, carefully considered details, conveyed quality, at the same time nimble, playful and affordable. Paradox or design approach? The interplay between the design of costume jewellery and the innovative use of manufacturing possibilities is the motto of this year's Young European Talents workshop, which is being organised for the eighth time by the city's own business and city marketing department (WSP) in cooperation with the Faculty of Design at Pforzheim University.
With a keen eye on the 250th anniversary of Goldstadt, budding designers from Geneva, London and Pforzheim are challenging local jewellery manufacturers - and vice versa. Together, they are exploring new approaches to traditional local jewellery production. The resulting works can be seen in the exhibition at EMMA.
