Open studios 2023

This year, the "Open studios - fine art, jewellery and design" event will finally be held in the artists' studios again, after taking place in a modified form under the title Ateliers 2020/21/22 in the Alter Schlachthof due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At EMMA - Kreativzentrum Pforzheim, the jewellery designer Mira Kim (SG, Atelier -1.3) will open her studio and give an insight into the PF Revisited project. On the ground floor the artist presents Janusz Czech Works and the catalogue of his stay at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris.

Numerous studios of professional visual artists, designers and jewellery makers in Pforzheim will open their doors to visitors, and temporary exhibition spaces will also be used again. The Alter Schlachthof will cover both functions in 2023 and will not only participate as a year-round location for various studios, but also as a host for some artist friends who would like to use the spacious halls just for this event.

Once again this year, guests from the cultural region of the northern Black Forest and beyond will be invited by the artists to exhibit in their studios in order to create a closer network, increase the attractiveness of the event and expand the circle of visitors.
