Free space for art: the international Insitu Movements network

With the network and performance culture project "Insitu Movements", Sholeh Mohammadi (artist, IR) and Lisa Schlenker (artist, GER) are developing an opportunity for artists to realise projects on a multicultural, equal and interdisciplinary basis within a global network.
Away from the trends of the art and technology market, they are creating a non-profit digital network platform for contemporary art, culture and technology. The establishment of a network server enables the full exchange of information, simultaneous work on projects and their further development by all participating artists. The technology is developed and made available according to open source principles. This makes it possible to offer equal opportunities for artists and cultural professionals worldwide. Its aim is to bring the contemporary art and culture scene into global dialogue in order to enable interdisciplinary, multicultural performance culture, experimental movement and social participation. At the Creative After Work, Sholeh Mohammadi and Lisa Schlenker will explain the idea behind the project and provide insights into their work.
