Creative After Work
Beyond the Hype: Design in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Programmes such as ChatGPT are currently sparking a debate about the future of the world of work. In the field of design, artificial intelligence and generative design are also posing the question for many creative professionals as to how their professional field will change in the near future. So-called generative design, currently the focus of public attention due to the utilisation of artificial intelligence via text and image generators, has held the promise of taking design and storytelling to a new level for several years.
Driven by data and shaped by algorithms and programmes, generative design systems open the door to a modern way of designing, dynamic brand identities and interactive campaigns. The special feature: designers are no longer executors, but rather the system's idea generators - the design process is automated and the result is unpredictably individual within the framework of predefined rules: design in co-creation with the machine.
Based on his many years of work as a generative designer, Patrik Hübner will be focussing on the possible applications of the innovative design method at the Creative After Work and will be using a new way of thinking to open our eyes to the value of artificial intelligence in the future of design. Afterwards, we invite you to join Firat Yildiz for networking, drinks and snacks.
Patrik Hübner has been working as a designer and creative director at the interface between communication and technology for over 15 years. With his combination of branding and generative design, he is one of the few individual players to have successfully established generative design on an international level. His clients include agencies and brands such as Landor & Fitch, Interbrand, Serviceplan, Wieden+Kennedy, The New York Times, Evian and Lexus. Patrik's lectures have found a large audience at agencies and companies such as Deutsche Telekom, IBM, Publicis and The Atlantic as well as at universities and events such as re:publica Berlin and the Dutch Design Week.
