Carolina Rebelo Schneider has developed a new type of walking stick with a seat for senior citizens. The use of walking sticks is on the decline, as the target group of senior citizens nowadays mainly uses rollators. The walking sticks with a seat available on the market often do not meet the emotional needs of users - they look old-fashioned and medical. The result is a walking stick with a seat that is aesthetically appealing, does not stigmatise and is a popular everyday companion.
