Designer in Residence" exhibition
Venue: Design Centre Baden-Württemberg, Haus der Wirtschaft, Willi-Bleicher-Straße 19, 70174 Stuttgart

From April to June, scholarship holders Elke Fiebig, Carolina Rebelo Schneider and Vera Stassen worked intensively in the workshops of EMMA and the Faculty of Design at Pforzheim University. As a cooperation partner of the scholarship programme, the Design Center Baden-Württemberg is showing the final exhibition at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart from 14 September to 27 October. The exhibition presents the products created during the scholarship programme and provides an insight into the designers' working process.

During the scholarship, fashion designer Elke Fiebig worked on a "capsule wardrobe", a small collection that can be combined and reversed in many ways. Product designer Carolina Rebelo Schneider developed a walking stick with a seat that is aesthetically appealing, does not stigmatise and is a popular everyday companion. Vera Stassen's work focused on the processing of a silicified hard coal she developed into jewellery.
