Since 2014, EMMA - Kreativzentrum Pforzheim has been the central point of contact for start-ups and companies in the creative industries in Pforzheim and the region. EMMA is also home to the team from the City of Pforzheim's creative industries department, which is responsible for all matters relating to the creative industries:

Networking

For many companies, working in a network is
essential. The Department of Creative Industries therefore offers creative professionals from Pforzheim and the region various analogue and digital formats and platforms to get in touch with each other and with companies from other economic sectors, to exchange ideas and to network for joint projects.
In addition to formats such as the Creative After Work network meeting, regular tenant meetings and the BarCamp, an open-topic "unconference", the "ALFONS & EMMA. Neighbourhood Festival on the Enz" or the
summer lounge on the roof terrace.

Rooms and interim utilisation

In addition to EMMA, Pforzheim has numerous attractive premises for companies in the creative industries. For example, the Alter Schlachthof, Nordstadt, Dillsteiner Straße, Melanchthonhaus and Kollmarhaus are all home to creative businesses.
& Jourdan-Haus and in the ROWI neighbourhood in Bleichstraße, there are numerous studios, workshops, offices, exhibition and project spaces that can be used temporarily or permanently. The team from the creative industries department, in cooperation with the WSP property service, supports
in the search for suitable premises.

Counselling

The creative industries department is the contact point for creative companies at every stage of development. In cooperation with the MFG Baden-Württemberg, the IHK and the HWK as well as experienced coaches, EMMA organises seminars on all aspects of starting up in the creative sector, workshops on topics such as financing and funding, marketing and sales, law or social media as well as individual coaching sessions to clarify individual problems.
