Ganit Goldstein's collections explore the interaction between the body, coding and digital media. She explores how 3D printing can be used in a wearable way to produce customised clothing without neglecting the focus on tradition. During the fellowship, Ganit Goldstein would like to deepen her research and design a collection of garments and shoes.
Ganit Goldsteinborn in Israel in 1992, completed her fashion and jewellery studies at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem in 2018 with a focus on the use of 3D printing to develop textiles for fashion and shoes. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad at the Tokyo University of the Arts in Japan. Ganit Goldstein received an award for her second year of study and has also taken part in various exhibitions and competitions worldwide, including New York Textile Month, Hong Kong Fashion Week and the San Francisco Art Museum's Art of Fashion Competition. Most recently, her collection "Between the Layers" was shown at the special "Talents" show at the International Craft Fair in Munich.
