Observing the environment, responding to the needs of others and designing objects that can be produced directly using a 3D printer: That is the goal of Taiwanese industrial designer Sheng-Hung Lee. He wants to research how people in his environment live, think and act and translate this into three-dimensional objects that fulfil a meaningful function for the user. In order to make these objects accessible to everyone, he wants to make the building instructions available as open source documents.
