After the initial shock, it is clear that the coronavirus pandemic will change the economy, professional life and everyday life over a longer period of time. Every company is affected by these changes and for many, digitalisation can be part of the solution to existing and new problems.

The Digital Festival addresses topics that are of particular concern to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): Where can I add digital elements to my business model in order to remain competitive? How can artificial intelligence and smart services help me do this? What does the change mean for my organisation's internal processes? How can I implement home office and web conferencing during the crisis - simply, legally compliant and stable? How will online workshops and digital events change my company?

Participants can design their own learning experience: actively contribute or just listen, attend a webinar or take the entire programme with them - the resource of time can be used as required.

The following formats with varying degrees of participation are offered:

  • E-lecture: For listeners in a virtual lecture and plenary session
  • Webinar: Interactive seminars for a selected group of participants
  • DigitalDialogue: Personal exchange with experts
  • Virtual Tour: Virtual exploration of our laboratories

Procedure:

  • Monday, 25 May: BE SAFE theme day
    Here, participants learn how online collaboration works effectively and in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Tuesday, 26 May: BE INNOVATIVE theme day
    This theme day will focus on how innovative business models are created and where digital components can be used.
  • Wednesday, 27 May: BE SMART theme day
    On this theme day, participants will learn how data and AI can be used in products and processes.
  • Thursday, 28 May: BE READY theme day
    The focus here is on how digitalisation can be used to rethink organisation and management systems.
  • Friday, 29 May: BE TOGETHER theme day
    On this theme day, the focus is on overcoming the crisis together.
