We are makou, a young start-up from Baden-Württemberg founded by Verena and Annika.
You know the problem that handmade jewellery is usually far too expensive? We make high-quality silver jewellery by hand, produced in Germany under fair conditions and at fair prices.
Through our joint training as state-certified jewellery designers, we quickly realised that we wanted to realise our dream of running our own jewellery label together. After graduating, we started designing and making our first pieces in our small workshop in Pforzheim. In the meantime, we can hardly believe that we are producing unique and individual pieces of jewellery every day through our online shop and are able to inspire people as a result.
